ABOUT THIS WINE
Acrollam Blanc Ecologic 2023 is a white wine from Mallorca, Spain, produced by Mesquida Mora S.L. It is made from a blend of Giró Blanc (54%) and Prensal Blanc (46%) grapes, with vines averaging 60 years old. The wine is classified under IGP Vi de la Terra Mallorca. The producer, Bàrbara Mesquida Mora, established the winery in 2012, building on a family legacy and focusing on biodynamic and regenerative agriculture with indigenous grape varieties. The wine's name, 'Acrollam,' is 'Mallorca' spelled backward, reflecting the winemaker's philosophy. The label design incorporates a mandala and imagery of a woman searching for identity, symbolizing a connection to nature and inner perfection. This wine is considered a significant expression of white wine from Mallorca, distinguished by its low-intervention winemaking and focus on indigenous grapes.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Acrollam Blanc Ecologic 2023 is produced using a combination of direct pressing for Giró Blanc grapes and skin-maceration for Prensal Blanc grapes. The musts are spontaneously fermented separately with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees for approximately four months. The winemaking process is characterized by a low-intervention approach, with no malolactic fermentation and no added sulfur dioxide throughout the process or before bottling. The grapes are sourced from old vines and are harvested manually. The winery adheres to certified organic and biodynamic farming practices, including regenerative agriculture and working in accordance with celestial movements.
