Adega de Monção Vinho Verde Branco

Adega Cooperativa Regional de Monção was founded in 1958 in the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço, the birthplace of the Alvarinho grape in Portugal. This cooperative has played a pivotal role in modernizing the region's winemaking and bringing Vinho Verde to the international stage. By blending the structured, aromatic Alvarinho with the softer, fruit-forward Trajadura, they create a classic expression of the region's terroir, characterized by granite soils and a cool, maritime-influenced climate.
