WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Agustí Torelló Mata Gran Reserva Barrica begins with hand-harvested Macabeo grapes from organically grown vineyards. A portion of the base wine is fermented in French oak barrels for six months, while another part is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine then undergoes an extended aging process, with a minimum of 48 months of refinement in the bottle in contact with its yeasts. The disgorgement date, indicating the end of cellar aging, is marked on the bottle.
