WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Amalia Barolo Bussia Vigna Fantini 2019 begins with hand-harvested Nebbiolo grapes. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures (26-28 °C) with a maceration period of 20-25 days, including daily pumping over. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine undergoes an extensive aging process: 32 months in large French oak barrels (2,600 liters) followed by 8 months of bottle aging. The producer utilizes organic farming practices, though not certified.
