WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of Musella Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva 2017 begins with hand-harvested grapes that undergo the appassimento process, drying to concentrate their sugars and flavors. Following this, soft pressing occurs in January, and fermentation takes place at low temperatures (13-17°C) with long maceration to maximize fruit extraction. The wine is then aged for 24 months in a combination of French oak tonneaux and larger barrels. Further aging occurs for at least one year in bottle before the wine is released. Musella practices biodynamic farming, with a focus on natural winemaking methods.
