ABOUT THIS WINE
The Arnot-Roberts Rosé is a distinctive wine produced in California by Arnot-Roberts, a boutique winery founded by Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts. For the 2025 vintage, the wine is primarily made from Touriga Nacional, often blended with Trincadeira and other Portuguese varieties, a choice that sets it apart from typical Californian Rosés. The grapes are sourced from a variety of carefully selected vineyard sites across California, each contributing to the wine's complexity. Arnot-Roberts is known for its minimalist, site-driven winemaking philosophy, emphasizing natural yeasts and minimal intervention to showcase the unique character of the fruit and its origin.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Arnot-Roberts Rosé is crafted using a minimalist, site-driven approach. Grapes are hand-harvested from diverse vineyard sites across California. The winemaking process involves light foot-crushing to release color before pressing. The juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks using native yeasts, followed by full native malolactic fermentation. After fermentation, various lots are blended to achieve harmony before bottling in early January. This method emphasizes natural processes and highlights the unique characteristics of the fruit and its origin.
