ABOUT THIS WINE
Casa Vinicola Triacca was founded in 1897 by Domenico Triacca and has remained family-owned for five generations over 125 years. Situated in Lombardy's high-altitude Valtellina valley, the estate operates under the core motto 'Dalla mia vigna' (From my vineyard), ensuring complete control from vine cultivation to bottling. Aurora represents an approachable alpine expression of Nebbiolo (known locally as Chiavennasca), grown on heroic terraced slopes along the Rhaetian Alps north of the Adda River.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Grapes are harvested manually from steep, dry-stone wall terraced vineyards situated between 300 and 500 meters above sea level. Winemaking features temperature-controlled skin maceration and fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine undergoes careful aging in oak barrels alongside stainless steel tanks to preserve its bright red-fruit aromas and crisp alpine freshness.
