WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Felton Road Bannockburn Chardonnay 2022 begins with whole bunch pressing, with the juice transferred to barrel by gravity. Fermentation is carried out using native yeasts in French oak barrels, with a small proportion of new oak. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for 11-13 months on lees, with periodic stirring. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
