ABOUT THIS WINE
Bruno Rocca's Rabajà is a benchmark expression of Barbaresco, sourced from one of the region's most celebrated and historic crus. The Rocca family has deep roots in the Langhe, with Bruno Rocca taking over the estate in the late 1970s and shifting focus toward estate-bottled, terroir-driven wines. The Rabajà vineyard is famous for its steep, south-to-southwesterly facing amphitheater, which catches optimal sunlight. The unique microclimate and ancient soils of this site yield Nebbiolo of extraordinary complexity, structure, and longevity, making it a highly sought-after bottling for collectors worldwide.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for this single-vineyard Barbaresco is designed to respect the unique character of the Rabajà terroir. Grapes are entirely hand-harvested from old vines ranging from 50 to 60 years of age, followed by rigorous sorting. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with a skin-contact maceration period lasting between 20 and 25 days to extract color, fine tannins, and structural components. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak casks for 14 to 16 months, allowing the tight-knit tannins to integrate before final blending and bottling.
