WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Musso Barbaresco Pora 2018 is produced using 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The grapes are hand-harvested and then undergo fermentation in stainless steel containers for approximately 20 days with an immersed cap and pump-overs. Fermentation temperatures are maintained between 28-30°C. Post-fermentation, the wine is aged in large oak barrels (50 hectoliters) for 12 months, followed by 10-12 months in smaller oak barrels (20 hectoliters). The wine then rests in bottle for an additional 7-8 months before release. Farming practices are noted as organic with minimal sulfite additions.
