WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Scarpa Barbaresco Tettineive 2019 is produced from hand-harvested Nebbiolo grapes. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts in large, truncated conical wooden vats for 20-25 days, utilizing manual pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation is completed in steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 18-24 months in large French Allier oak barrels (45 hL). Following aging, it rests in bottle for 12 months before release. The producer employs sustainable farming practices.
