WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Barbera d'Alba Falletto is produced from 100% Barbera grapes. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks for 10-15 days under controlled temperatures, followed by a maceration period of similar duration. Malolactic fermentation takes place in November. The wine is then aged for approximately 14 months in large, old oak casks (botte), a characteristic choice of the producer. Farming practices at Azienda Agricola Falletto aim to respect nature and terroir, with careful management of vineyard yields to ensure quality.
