WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Barbera d'Alba 'Ferrione' is produced using 100% Barbera grapes. Following hand-harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks utilizing indigenous yeasts. The wine then matures for a total of 20 months, with 10 months in 500-liter oak barrels and a subsequent period in wooden barrels, including large oak and cement. This process is guided by the producer's commitment to organic and biodynamic farming principles.
