This particular wine is named after Martina, the daughter of the current owner-operators, and is noted for its expression of the limestone-rich terroir, often associated with Barolo production.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Barbera d'Alba Vigna Martina undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with daily pumping-over, followed by malolactic fermentation. It is then aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, with 40% new oak. Following aging, the wine rests for at least eight months in the cellar before being released to market.
