WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Vietti Barbera d'Asti La Crena 2021 undergoes alcoholic fermentation in open stainless steel tanks for about two weeks, utilizing mechanical punch-downs, délestage, and open-air pumping overs. Post-fermentation maceration on skins follows. The wine is then aged for approximately 18 months in a mix of stainless steel tanks, French barriques (25% new), large wooden barrels, and steel. Organic farming is practiced in the vineyard.
