WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Barbera d'Asti Rurè begins with hand-harvested grapes that are gently destemmed and pressed. Fermentation with maceration takes place in temperature-controlled tanks for approximately eight days, with regular pumping over to enhance color and phenolic extraction. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in traditional Slavonian oak barrels. This approach aims to preserve the varietal character of Barbera while developing complexity and structure.
