Azelia Barolo is a 100% Nebbiolo wine from the Barolo DOCG in Piedmont, Italy. Produced by the fifth-generation, family-run Azienda Agricola Azelia di Luigi Scavino, the wine is a blend sourced from estate vineyards in Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d'Alba. The vineyards feature calcareous, clayey, and Helvetian limestone soils, with vine ages ranging from 45-50 years to over 100 years old. The 2020 vintage is noted for its classicism, freshness, and Nebbiolo purity.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Azelia Barolo is produced using 100% Nebbiolo grapes. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts for 40-45 days at 31°C with a submerged cap. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 24 months in large, neutral Slavonian oak casks (botti). Farming practices are organic.
