WINE MAKING PROCESS
Camparo Barolo Boiolo 2017 is produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. Following harvest in October, the grapes undergo fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks with daily pumping over. Maceration can extend for 30 to 40 days. The wine is then aged for 24 months in large French oak barrels (25 hl botti), with some mention of Slavonian oak. An additional 12 months of bottle aging precedes release. Camparo practices organic and sustainable viticulture, utilizing cover crops and a holistic farming approach.
