WINE MAKING PROCESS
Scarpa Barolo Tettimorra 2018 is produced using 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The winemaking process emphasizes traditional techniques, including fermentation in large, old, truncated conical wooden vats for approximately 28 days. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for a minimum of 36 months in used French Alier oak barrels (700L) or large French oak casks (botti grandi) ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 liters. The wine then undergoes extended bottle aging before release. Viticulture is described as organic or integrated pest management, with hand-harvesting.
