WINE MAKING PROCESS
Barovo Red 2019 is produced by blending Kratošija and Vranec grapes, which are picked together. Fermentation takes place in either concrete or stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes an aging process of 18 months, primarily in new French oak barrels, with 80% of the wine receiving this treatment. A minimum of six months of bottle aging follows the barrel maturation. The harvest for this vintage occurred between late September and mid-October.
