WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Benanti Etna Bianco is produced through fermentation in stainless steel vats, often with native yeasts. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes aging on its lees for approximately six months, with some resting in steel tanks. Periodic stirring of the lees (bâtonnage) may be employed to enhance texture and complexity. The grapes are hand-harvested to ensure quality. Benanti Viticoltori's approach emphasizes expressing the unique volcanic terroir of Mount Etna.
