WINE MAKING PROCESS
Berto Rosso is created by infusing a carefully selected blend of Piedmontese wines, primarily Cortese and Barbera, with a complex mixture of aromatic herbs, roots, and spices. This infusion process involves steeping the botanicals, including wormwood, juniper, rhubarb, myrrh, licorice, vanilla, and mint, for a period of 60 days. After the infusion, sugar and the base wine are added. The resulting vermouth is then aged slowly in stainless steel tanks to allow the flavors to integrate and mature.
