ABOUT THIS WINE
The Blanc De Morgex Et De La Salle by Maison Vevey Albert is a distinctive white wine from the Valle d'Aosta region of Italy. It is produced from 100% Prié Blanc, an indigenous grape variety cultivated at exceptionally high altitudes, making these some of the highest vineyards in Europe. The unique sandy soils and cold climate have protected the vines from phylloxera, allowing them to remain ungrafted. Maison Vevey Albert, a family-run estate founded in 1968, is committed to preserving this rare grape and employing environmentally friendly agricultural practices. The wine represents a remarkable example of 'heroic viticulture' from the alpine terroir near Mont Blanc.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Blanc De Morgex Et De La Salle begins with a manual harvest in late September. Grapes are softly pressed before undergoing fermentation in white to retain freshness. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for five months in fiberglass tanks. It is then bottled unfiltered ('Non Filtrato'), preserving its natural character and texture. This approach emphasizes purity and the expression of the unique alpine terroir.
