ABOUT THIS WINE
Cave Mont Blanc de Morgex et La Salle is a pioneering cooperative located in the Valle d'Aosta, at the foot of Mont Blanc. Established in 1983, it saved the heroic viticulture of the upper valley from extinction. The vineyards here are among the highest in Europe, reaching up to 1,200 meters above sea level. Cultivating the indigenous Prié Blanc grape on its own roots, the cooperative produces extreme alpine wines that reflect the dramatic, high-altitude terroir of the Alps.

INTERESTING FACTS
Fact 01
Vineyards are planted at up to 1,200 meters above sea level, making them some of the highest in Europe.
Fact 02
The vines are ungrafted (pie franco) because phylloxera cannot survive in the cold, sandy soils at this extreme altitude.
Fact 03
The traditional low pergola training system keeps the vines close to the ground to absorb heat from the rocky soil.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
This Metodo Classico sparkling wine is crafted using the traditional method. The Prié Blanc grapes are hand-harvested from high-altitude pergolas. Primary fermentation takes place in stainless steel and large wood casks. The secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle, followed by aging on the lees for 12 to 15 months to develop delicate autolytic complexity while preserving the grape's signature mountain freshness and vibrant acidity.
