ABOUT THIS WINE
Pierre Brigandat Blanc de Noir Brut Tradition is a non-vintage Champagne from Pierre Brigandat & Fils, a grower producer in the Côte de Bars region of Champagne, France. The wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, a designation known as Blanc de Noirs. The estate, founded by Pierre Brigandat, is now managed by his son, Bertrand Brigandat, who is committed to organic and increasingly biodynamic farming practices. The vineyards are planted on calcareous-clayey Kimmeridgian soils at an altitude of around 300 meters, with some vines dating back to 1965. This approach aims to highlight the specific terroir of the Côte de Bars.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Pierre Brigandat Blanc de Noir Brut Tradition is produced using the traditional method of Champagne production. The grapes undergo a first fermentation, primarily in enameled steel tanks, with natural yeasts playing a role. Following this, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle to create its characteristic sparkle. It is aged for a minimum of three years on its lees (sur latte), a process that contributes to its texture and complexity. Harvests are manual, ensuring the selection of high-quality Pinot Noir grapes. The estate is committed to organic and increasingly biodynamic farming practices.
