Blanco Nieva Verdejo is a white wine from the DO Rueda in Spain, produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Nieva, part of the Bodegas Martúe Family. The estate is committed to reviving the historical winegrowing traditions of the Nieva region. The vineyards are situated at approximately 850 meters above sea level, making them some of the highest in the Rueda appellation. The vines are over 25 years old, with some portions of the blend coming from vines as old as 83 years. The wine is made from 100% Verdejo grapes.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Blanco Nieva Verdejo involves manual harvesting of grapes, which are then brought to the winery at night to maintain coolness. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, around 15°C, to preserve the wine's aromatic profile and minerality. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on its natural yeast lees, a technique that enhances texture and complexity.
