WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of Borges Vintage Port 2007 involves traditional methods. Grapes are crushed and destemmed upon arrival at the winery. Fermentation takes place in small oak vats, where it is arrested by the addition of grape spirit. The wine is then aged in small oak vats for up to two years before being bottled. Vintage Ports are intended for significant aging in the bottle, allowing them to develop complexity over time.
