ABOUT THIS WINE
Bott Frères Riesling Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé is an Alsace Grand Cru from the historic Kirchberg vineyard, the first acquisition of the Bott family. This 7th-generation family winery, established in 1835 in Ribeauvillé, emphasizes a philosophy of cultivating wine with respect for biodiversity and sustainable practices, currently transitioning to organic certification. The Ribeauvillé region is known for its dry, aromatic white wines, with the south-facing Kirchberg vineyard's stony soils contributing to the wine's character. The 2020 vintage is noted for its pale color and fresh profile. This is a limited production cuvée.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Bott Frères Riesling Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé is produced from manually harvested grapes. Fermentation occurs in thermoregulated stainless steel vats to control temperature and preserve aromatics. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes a 7-month aging period on its fine lees, also in stainless steel. The estate is committed to sustainable agriculture and is in the process of organic certification.
