WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Braunstein Blaufränkisch Heide 2020 is produced from hand-harvested and carefully selected grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using native yeasts, followed by an 18-day maceration period with the skins. The wine then matures for 12 months in large oak barrels or barriques. Birgit Braunstein's winemaking approach is characterized by minimal intervention, aiming to express the unique qualities of the biodynamically farmed Heide vineyard.
