ABOUT THIS WINE
Domeniile Averești is a historic estate located in the Huși wine region of northeastern Romania, founded in 1874 by Ștefan Negruzzi and French winemaker René Faure. The estate is renowned for pioneering modern viticulture in the area, including constructing the country's first gravity-fed irrigation system. The 'Briant' collection, named after a finely-cut brilliant diamond, is crafted to elevate everyday moments into special celebrations. This unique rosé blend highlights the indigenous Busuioacă de Bohotin grape alongside Merlot and Fetească Neagră, grown on high-altitude rolling hills that preserve the grapes' natural freshness.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes for this rosé are hand-picked in the cool early mornings to preserve their delicate aromatic profile. Each variety—Busuioacă de Bohotin, Merlot, and Fetească Neagră—is vinified separately. The process involves brief cold skin maceration to extract pale color and delicate aromas, followed by gravity-fed must decanting. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at low temperatures. The wines are then blended and aged entirely in stainless steel to maintain maximum fruitiness and freshness, with zero oak contact before bottling.
