WINE MAKING PROCESS
Grapes for Bricco della Bigotta Barbera d'Asti DOCG are sourced from the Bricco della Bigotta vineyard. Maceration on the skins occurs at controlled temperatures for 20 days in stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 15 months in barriques, predominantly French oak, and then for another year in the bottle before release. Braida was an early adopter of using small French oak barrels for aging Barbera.
