ABOUT THIS WINE
The Brookdale Estate Chenin Blanc Old Vine 2022 originates from certified Heritage Vines planted in 1985 in the Paarl region of the Western Cape. Brookdale Estate, a boutique winery founded by Tim Rudd, is dedicated to exploring unique wine blends driven by curiosity. Winemaker Kiara Scott employs a philosophy of minimal intervention, allowing the old vines and the stony terroir to express themselves. The 2022 vintage, despite a very hot season in Paarl, has yielded a wine that retains its freshness and balance, a testament to the vineyard's resilience and the estate's practices.
