WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Brunello di Montalcino 2017 from Conti Costanti is produced from 100% Sangiovese. The grapes undergo fermentation on their skins in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for about two weeks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for a total of 48 months: 18 months in tonneaux, 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels, and 12 months in bottle. The vineyards are situated at altitudes of 310-440 meters on galestro soil, with vines ranging from 6 to 25 years old. The 2017 harvest occurred between September 21st and 25th.
