WINE MAKING PROCESS
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Mastrojanni 2019 is produced from 100% Sangiovese. Fermentation occurs in resin-coated concrete tanks. The wine is then aged for 36 months in a combination of Allier, Slavonian, and Styrian oak barrels of varying sizes (16 hl, 33 hl, and 54 hl). Following barrel aging, the wine spends an additional 6 months aging in bottle before release. The vineyards are situated between 200 and 400 meters above sea level on very poor soil.
