ABOUT THIS WINE
Bodegas Jaume Serra, located in Vilanova i la Geltrú within Catalonia, has historical roots dating back to 1647 at the El Padruell estate. Established as a modern winery in 1986 and acquired by the J. García Carrión family in 1997, it is uniquely situated as the closest winery to the Mediterranean Sea in Spain. This coastal proximity provides a distinct maritime influence to their vineyards, tempering the warm Spanish sun and helping to maintain natural acidity and freshness in the grapes.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Grapes are night-harvested to preserve freshness and prevent oxidation. The base wines undergo secondary fermentation in the bottle according to the traditional method. Fermentation is kept below 16ºC in underground cellars to ensure slow development and fine, persistent bubbles. The wine is aged on its lees for a minimum of 12 months before disgorgement with zero added sugar, resulting in a pure, bone-dry Brut Nature style.
