WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Gusbourne Brut Reserve Late Disgorged 2013 begins with whole bunch pressing of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The resulting must is settled before fermentation, which occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with a small percentage also fermented in old oak barrels. Following primary fermentation, the wine undergoes an extensive 90 months of aging on its lees. The wine was disgorged on March 21, 2022. The 2013 vintage was harvested later than typical due to climatic conditions, which allowed for optimal grape ripeness.
