ABOUT THIS WINE
Produced by the boutique estate Sociedade Agrícola Casal da Carrasqueira in the Lisboa wine region, this wine is a monovarietal expression of Vital, a historic and increasingly rare indigenous Portuguese grape. The estate focuses on preserving regional traditions and showcasing the unique terroir of Lisboa, where the vineyards are heavily influenced by the cooling breezes of the Atlantic Ocean. This maritime climate allows the grapes to ripen slowly, retaining their natural acidity and developing a distinct mineral character.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for this Vital is designed to preserve the fresh, primary fruit characteristics and mineral drive of the grape. Grapes are carefully harvested and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on its fine lees for several months to add texture, complexity, and mouthfeel before being stabilized and bottled.
