Cœur de Silex Vouvray

Crafted by the highly respected Bernard Fouquet of Domaine des Aubuisières, 'Cœur de Silex' is a benchmark dry Vouvray. The name translates to 'Heart of Flint,' paying homage to the unique soil composition of the vineyards. Fouquet is renowned for his meticulous vineyard management and his ability to capture the diverse terroirs of Vouvray. This cuvée comes from 50-to-60-year-old vines planted on flinty clay soils, which impart a distinctive, smoky minerality to the wine, making it a true expression of Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley.
