WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Calosso Gamba di Pernice 2022 is produced using traditional winemaking methods. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for about 12 months in a combination of steel tanks and cement barrels. It then undergoes a further 12 months of aging in the bottle before release. This extended aging process is a key characteristic for wines within the Calosso DOC.
