ABOUT THIS WINE
The Campillo Reserva Colección 2018 is a red wine from Rioja DOCa, Spain, produced by Bodegas Campillo. Founded in 1990 by Julio Faustino Martínez, the winery was conceived with the ambition of creating a 'château' concept within Rioja, surrounded by its own vineyards. The estate's Villa Lucía vineyards are situated at an altitude of 650 meters, benefiting from a climate influenced by both continental and Atlantic air masses. The wine is characterized by a philosophy of unhurried winemaking, aiming to express its own distinct character.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Campillo Reserva Colección 2018 is produced from 100% Tempranillo grapes. Following fermentation in tanks, the wine undergoes an extended maceration period of 12-14 days to enhance color and tannin extraction. It is then aged for a minimum of 22 months in American and French oak barrels, followed by bottle aging. This meticulous process is designed to develop the wine's character and complexity.
