ABOUT THIS WINE
Casa Agrícola Blanco is an artisanal white wine from Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola, produced in Alicante, Spain. It is a blend of Mediterranean grape varieties, including Moscatel de Alejandría, Macabeo, Merseguera, and sometimes Viognier or Airén. The grapes are sourced from two distinct microclimates within Alicante: the coastal Marina Alta and the inland highlands of Alto Vinalopó. Pepe Mendoza, a winemaker with a distinguished family history in the region, established Casa Agrícola as a personal project focused on 'Mediterranean Purity' and artisanal winemaking with minimal intervention. The wine aims to express the unique terroir of Alicante through a blend of native grapes, reflecting the diverse landscape of the region.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Casa Agrícola Blanco is produced using a philosophy of minimal intervention. Each grape variety is vinified separately, with fermentation occurring in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures using indigenous yeasts. The producer avoids added enzymes, clarification, and cold treatment to maintain the wine's natural character. Following fermentation, the wine ages on its lees in stainless steel for about two months to enhance texture and preserve primary aromas before bottling. The grapes are sourced from organically and sustainably farmed vineyards, harvested manually to ensure optimal balance.
