ABOUT THIS WINE
Casa Marzoni Appassimento is an organic red wine from Puglia, Italy, produced by Casa Marzoni in cooperation with Botter. The wine is crafted using the Appassimento method, where grapes are dried on the vine to concentrate their sugars and flavors. This process, combined with the region's climate and Botter's long-standing winemaking tradition, results in a distinctive wine. The brand's signature 'spago' string seal adds a traditional craft element to each bottle.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Casa Marzoni Appassimento is produced using the traditional Appassimento method, where grapes are dried on the vine for about two weeks before harvest to concentrate their sugars and flavors. Following drying and pressing, the grapes undergo fermentation. The resulting wine is then aged in oak barrels for approximately four months, a process that contributes to its smoothness and adds notes of vanilla and spice. Organic farming practices are utilized in the vineyards.
