WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of Casalforte Amarone Riserva 2016 involves the traditional appassimento process, where grapes are dried to concentrate their components before fermentation. The maximum grape yield is regulated by the Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG appellation. For the Riserva designation, the wine undergoes an extended aging period of at least two years in wooden casks, with an additional two years of aging compared to the standard Amarone. Approximately 20,000 bottles of the 2016 Riserva were produced, with each bottle individually numbered.
