WINE MAKING PROCESS
Casalforte Prosecco Extra Dry is produced using the Charmat method, also known as the tank or autoclave method. This technique involves a secondary fermentation that occurs in pressurized tanks, which is essential for creating the wine's carbonation. After fermentation, the wine undergoes a period of aging on its lees, a process that can contribute to its flavor and texture. Subsequently, the wine is filtered, its sweetness level is adjusted, and it is bottled under pressure at a low temperature. The alcohol by volume (ABV) for this wine is 11%.
