WINE MAKING PROCESS
Gramona Celler Batlle is produced using Xarel-lo and Macabeu grapes. Primary fermentation occurs in steel tanks. The wine then undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, followed by an extended aging period of at least 100 months on its lees. The grapes are sourced from the Finca Font de Jui vineyard, which is cultivated using organic and biodynamic farming practices. Harvest is conducted manually. Gramona is known for its philosophy of patient winemaking and its pioneering approach to extended aging for sparkling wines.
