ABOUT THIS WINE
Mirco Mariotti's Centro Orange is a natural, skin-contact sparkling wine (Pet Nat) from Emilia-Romagna, Italy, crafted using the ancestral method. The wine is made from Garganega grapes grown on ancient vines, some over a century old, rooted in sandy soils near the Adriatic coast. Mirco Mariotti, a former biologist, took over the family winery, continuing a tradition of winemaking that includes his father's contributions to the DOC Bosco Eliceo designation. This unique combination of ancestral winemaking techniques, ancient coastal vines, and sandy terroir defines the wine's distinctive character.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Mirco Mariotti's Centro Orange is produced using the ancestral method, also known as Pet Nat. The Garganega grapes undergo a 1-2 day maceration on their skins before primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks for approximately two weeks. Following this, the wine is aged in concrete tanks. Secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle, with the addition of chilled grape must to create the natural fizz. The wine is bottled unfiltered, retaining its natural character and fullness.
