ABOUT THIS WINE
Blason de Bourgogne is a collective brand representing an alliance of major Burgundian cooperative cellars, sourcing grapes from over 200 winegrowing families. This Chablis is crafted by La Chablisienne, a legendary cooperative founded in 1923 that manages about a quarter of the region's vineyards. By pooling resources, these small-scale, multi-generational growers gain access to state-of-the-art winemaking facilities, allowing them to produce authentic, high-quality regional wines that beautifully express the unique terroir of Chablis.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are sustainably grown on Kimmeridgian limestone soils along the Serein River. To preserve maximum freshness, cooperative members deliver the harvest strictly as musts to the central facility. Fermentation takes place entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to maintain the pure, unmasked fruit character. The wine is then aged on its fine lees ('sur lies') in stainless steel tanks for 6 to 12 months. No oak barrels are used, ensuring a classic, unoaked, and crisp profile.
