Domaine Pinson Chablis Premier Cru Mont de Milieu 2022 is a 100% Chardonnay from the Chablis appellation in Burgundy, France. The Pinson family has a winemaking legacy in Chablis dating back to 1640. The Mont de Milieu vineyard, a flagship site for the domaine, benefits from a southeast exposure and Kimmeridgian clay and limestone soils. This Premier Cru climat is situated southeast of the Grand Cru hill, experiencing higher average temperatures and more sunshine.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Domaine Pinson Chablis Premier Cru Mont de Milieu 2022 is made from 100% Chardonnay. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, utilizing indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation is completed for all the wine. The wine undergoes aging on fine lees for 9 months in 228-liter oak barrels, with bâtonnage. Fifteen percent of the blend is matured in new oak, while other components are aged in older barrels or stainless steel. The wine is bottled 12 months after harvest. Farming practices are sustainable, with no herbicides or pesticides used, and harvest is done by hand.
