ABOUT THIS WINE
Château Bonnet Rosé 2022 is a rosé wine from the AOC Bordeaux appellation, produced by Vignobles Famille André Lurton. The Lurton family has a long-standing history with Château Bonnet, their ancestral home since the 17th century. André Lurton significantly developed the estate from 1956 onwards, emphasizing traditional winemaking alongside ecological commitments and biodiversity initiatives. The rosé is characterized by its pale color and is crafted as a contemporary 'pleasure wine'. The 2022 vintage experienced a challenging climate with frost and drought, leading to reduced yields but high grape quality.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Château Bonnet Rosé 2022 is vinified using grapes harvested mechanically between September 2nd and 13th. The must is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, a technique designed to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes a four-month aging period in tanks, during which it rests on its fine lees. This process contributes to the wine's texture and complexity. The Lurton family's winemaking philosophy integrates traditional methods with a strong commitment to ecological practices and biodiversity.
