Château d'Issan Grand Cru Classé

The 2020 vintage of Château d'Issan begins with manual harvests and a rigorous double sorting process at the vineyard. The grapes are then vinified in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, a technique that allows for controlled fermentation to best capture the fruit's essence. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes aging in French oak barrels, a process that contributes to its structure and complexity. The 2020 blend notably incorporates Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec for the first time, following the acquisition of old vines.
